About WFMC

Willamette Falls Media Center is supported through franchise agreements between Comcast (Xfinity), Oregon City and West Linn. Willamette Falls Media Center is in its twenty-sixth year of community media. The facility has relocated to the Historic McLoughlin Neighborhood of Oregon City. WFMC currently manages seven local PEG channels for Damascus, Milwaukie, Oregon City, West Linn, Wilsonville and Unincorporated Clackamas County. These PEG Channels are the community's Public, Education and Government Channels. To view these television channels you must have a cable subscription. WFMC also provides programming for an eighth channel referred to as the Cable Access Network (CAN) Channel. This channel cablecasts out to Washington, Multnomah and Clackamas County. Only local producers have access to this channel.

As a public access station WFMC not only provides channel management, but puts community franchise fees and discretionary capital funds to work in the form of community media connectivity and media literacy. WFMC's network provides a spectrum of opportunities in media production, production management and methods for content delivery. WFMC Staff not only produce media content for the cities, but provide channel management consulting and technical support. WFMC Staff work with all levels of experience in media production. Any resident of the six service areas can come into the facility and participate in the Media Production Program at little to no out of pocket cost. WFMC requires playback of your final project on the Public Channel in return.
