The fruit you better avoid when taking certain medications
I've heard this advice but didn't really know much about it or if it was some sort of old wives' tale. But according to the FDA, grapefruit causes problems when taken with certain medications. Or as they humorously put it: "Sometimes the juice ain’t worth the squeeze…especially when combining grapefruit with medicines."

How to avoid the second leading cause of cancer-related deaths
While reading the Medicaid blog, I was suprised to learn that colorectal cancer is the second leading cause of cancer-related deaths in the United States among cancers that affect both men and women.
The goods news is colorectal cancer is avoidable is you get screened. And if you're on Medicaid the tests are free:
